Curb Work Continues In Lincoln City

1 min read

Starting September 8, crews are returning to the area to wrap up minor work. You can expect daytime single lane closures Monday through Friday, as needed.

Starting September 14, crews will start building the retaining wall near NE 1st Street and NW 2nd Drive.

You can expect:

  • Crews working during the day.

  • Construction noise – expect loud machinery and large cranes driving in and out of the area.

  • Southbound U.S. 101 traffic, south of NW 6th Street to D River, will shift to the center turn lane. Northbound lanes will not be closed.

  • Long delays.

Please use alternate routes and follow the signed detours as needed.

Maintenance crews are paving sections of U.S. 101 through Lincoln City this month.

You can expect crews working at night with lane closures as needed, construction noise and delays. Please use caution, watch for workers and take alternate routes.

Safety reminder

While you may not always see people working in a coned-off area, it is still an active work zone. Cones close off an area that is unsafe for pedestrians and vehicles to move through. The area will remain closed until crews are able to return, repair and reopen.

Please do not move cones or park in coned-off areas.
